Mr. Alber Elbaz is the newest designer to come to H&M. His highly anticipated designs for the swedish fashion house are expected to hit stores in about two weeks. Lanvin is the latest in a slew of high-end designers to create lines for H&M. Lagerfeld, McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Cavalli, Marimekko, Comme des Garçons, Williamson, Choo and Rykiel have all had successful lines and Mr. Elbaz is a shoe in to continue the successful tradition. The line includes everything from asymmetrical mini dresses to simple, chic blouses. Prices are a little more extravagant than what the average H&M customer might be used to (prices run from $50 – $200) but the quality of merchandise is definatly worth it. Unfortunately for me and my local fashionistas, there are no H&M stores in Miami, so I send a message to any of my northern readers, if you happen to go into a local store and want to send me some pictures of what the line consists of, please do so.
