Mr. Shoes himself, Christian Louboutin, will be lending his men’s shoe line to up and coming menswear designer Marlon Gobel at New York Fashion Week 2011.  Gobel might be a relatively new name in the fashion world, but apparently his last 3 shows have proven he will be a force in the menswear market.  His Spring 2011 line was very well done, full of color, texture, and great styling.  It even impressed Mr. Louboutin enough to offer his collection to be used in Gobel’s entire Fall 2011 collection.  Marlon Gobel started out his fashion career at Thom Browne as their Director if Operations then went on to become the assistant Creative Director for Michael Bastian.  Gobel’s collection is sold exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman.
